The Royal Bhutan Police received one modern high tech turntable ladder fire truck from the Honorary Consul of Bhutan in Southern Germany today.
The turntable ladder truck is a specialised high-tech modern fire fighting equipment which is expected to help save many human lives and properties.
The Firetruck aid project for Bhutan was initiated by Bhutan Aid Association in Germany. The Association is an NGO supporting the Government of Bhutan in areas such as project development, knowledge transfer and provides experts and technical equipment like a solar pump for farming and clean drinking water supply. The equipment will be used by Thimphu Fire Brigade.
