The Wangdue Phodrang district court sentenced a 27-year-old man from Tsirang to five years in prison for illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
The court passed the judgment on Wednesday. The convict, a driver by profession, was arrested in May this year in possession of 35 tablets of Nitrazepam.
