Transport United FC lost their first leg of the preliminary stage of the AFC CUP 2019 as they were thrashed 7-1 by Sri Lanka’s Colombo FC yesterday.

The Bhutanese side struggled to perform well as they conceded three crucial goals in just 10th minute of the first half.

The Sri Lankan giants proved too much for the visiting side with complete dominance in ball possession and constant attacks.

By the end of the 90th minute, Transport United conceded 7 goals and scored only one.

Transport United FC now have a mountain to climb to stay in the competition as they will host the second leg of the preliminary stage in the Changlimithang National Stadium next week.
