A hut was gutted by a fire on Sunday night at Samtenling Zhicha of Chhummig Gewog in Bumthang. There were no casualties.
However, no properties could be salvaged from the fire. The house was insured with Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited. The fire broke out from the chimney of the family’s Bukhari. The Dzongkhag Kidu Office handed over semso soelra to the affected family.
