Boy electrocuted to death in Tsirang

In a tragic accident in Tsirang, a 15-year-old student of Tsirang Toe Lower Secondary School has been electrocuted to death.

The incident happened last Saturday afternoon. The boy is the school’s audio visual captain. He was helping the school technician prepare the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) for a variety show that evening when the incident happened.

He is said to have touched a live electric wire. The technician heard the deceased scream and immediately rushed to turn off the main circuit breaker, which is located in the kitchen above the MPH.

Some teachers who were nearby heard the screams and rushed to the hall to find the boy lying unconscious on the floor.

The boy was rushed to the BHU but the health workers pronounced him dead.
