More than 70 participants from across the country are taking part in the National Open Badminton Championship. The championship kicked off today.
The participants include athletes, students, and civil servants. In the veterans’ category, participants as old as 54 years old are taking part.
The Bhutan Badminton Federation says the championship is a training for the athletes who will take part in an international badminton championship in Nepal this December.
The six day championship ends Monday.
