Paro Forestry officials recovered a leopard hide and sets of skeleton from a man in Trongsa. These items were confiscated on May 2 from Lugnyi Gewog in Paro at 8:30pm. Officials said the leopard had been killed in Trongsa and brought to Paro for trade. The offender will be fined a minimum of Nu. 60,000 for killing the endangered animal in a protected area.
