Team Tertons FC wins the first Futsal Club Championship

TeamTerton-FutsalTeam Tertons FC won the first Futsal Club Championship after defeating Druk Star FC. The final score stood at five goals to one. The team topped the table with 17 points. They received a cash prize of Nu.50,000 along with a trophy.

Rigsum FC emerged as the first runners up with 16 points after defeating Ugyen Academy FC. The team scored eight goals. Ugyen Academy FC, could score only five goals. Rigsum FC was awarded a cash prize of Nu.30,000  and a trophy.

The two final matches of the championship were played at the Changjiji futsal ground in Thimphu, today.

Eight clubs participated in the tournament. It was organised by Bhutan Football Federation.
