To discuss the local issues at community level, the Bhutan Broadcasting Service started a programme, ‘Radio in the Box’ in 2011. The programme is currently in Phuentsholing since yesterday.
The programme, involving local people and officials, discusses various issues related to the respective communities and can be tuned in only by the people of that locality.
This, according to the team from the BBS, is a concept of taking radio to the people and disseminating information in better understanding the local issues.
The team will also be covering Samtse dzongkhag.
