First match between United Sikkim and Drukpol ends in draw

UnitedSikkim-DrukPolThe first game of the friendly football matches between the United Sikkim FC from Sikkim in India and Drukpol FC ended in a draw. Both teams scored four goals each.UnitedSikkim-DrukPol.

The match was played at the Changlimithang stadium in Thimphu. Our reporter Karma Tshering, who witnessed the match, said the stadium was unusually packed with spectators.

United Sikkim Football Club’s next match is against Zimdra FC on Tuesday. And Wednesday, the team will take on Yeedzin FC.

The United Sikkim Football Club is co-owned by former India football captain, Baichung Bhutia. The club is an Indian I-League football club based in Gangtok, Sikkim.  

The Friendly match is being organised by Woezer events in collaboration with the Bhutan Football Federation.
