Bhutan and India hold third plan talks virtually

The third Bhutan-India Development cooperation talk for the 12th Five Year Plan was held virtually, today. Both the governments reviewed the progress of the projects supported by the Indian government under the 12th Five Year Plan. 

The two sides also approved some new projects and reprioritization of other projects whose implementations have been affected by the pandemic. The meeting also discussed the progress of important projects that are being implemented outside the 12th Five Year Plan.

The Bhutan government expressed appreciation to the people and the Indian government for their continuous support and cooperation during the difficult times of the pandemic.

The foreign secretary, officials from various ministries, Indian ambassadors, GNHC secretariat and the external affairs secretary of India took part in the meeting.
