Rebecca Pradhan, a Botanist and Raling Ngawang Drukdra, a plant specialist, received the second Jigme Singye Wangchuck outstanding environmental stewardship award. They were awarded cash prize of Nu. 100,000 each.
They were also awarded a citation signed by her Royal Highness Princess Chimi Yangzom Wangchuck and the Prime Minister Jigmi Y Thinley.
They were recognised for their field leadership.
