The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Armed Border Force stationed at the Indo-Bhutan border in the Udalguri district of Assam have arrested two Bhutanese for suspected drug peddling.
The men, both in their 30s, were arrested on Saturday. About 35 kilograms of dried marijuana were seized from them.
The marijuana consignment was to be delivered to the Udalguri district.
The men were later handed over to Samdrupchhoeling police outpost in Samdrup Jongkhar along with the seized marijuana consignment.
