Tshaphel Lower Secondary school and the community nearby the school premises now have a reliable drinking water supply.

Around 60 De-suups along with army personnel, officials from the works and human settlement ministry and the Haa Dzongkhag Administration constructed water intake tank, two reservoirs and installed water transmission and distribution lines at a cost of Nu 5 M. The De-suung National Service Water Project handed over the project to the Haa Dzongkhag Administration. It will benefit the school and 17 households nearby the school.

The dzongkhag and the gewog will look after the project’s maintenance hereafter.
