Trashi Yangtse police arrested three men in connection with an alleged robbery of two cat’s eye or dzee and a few corals. The incident took place on the 6th of this month.
According to the police, the two men allegedly ripped off the dzee and a few corals from a 62-year-old woman’s neck, near her house at around 11 in the morning.
Both the suspect confessed to the crime. Police arrested the other man for soliciting the crime. Police recovered one-two eyed dzee, two small coral, two turquoise and two white corals from the suspects. However, one of the dzee could not be recovered.
Police are currently investigating the case, once complete, the case will be forwarded to the Office of Attorney General (OAG).
