Tashichholing Police forwarded a gambling case allegedly involving the Gup of Tendruk Gewog to the Tashichholing Drungkhag Court yesterday.
The court will hold the miscellaneous hearing two weeks later.
The case surfaced after the Gup, who is also the Chairperson of Samtse Dzongkhag Tshogdu, was reportedly spotted gambling in a classroom of Kachin Community School in January this year.
The incident is reported to have taken place during the school’s picnic.
