Rock bees at Chapli Khola, about 50 kilometres away from Gelegphu towards Zhemgang, are posing danger to the travellers.
On Saturday, an alto car fell some 75 feet below the road while trying to escape an attack by a swarm of rock bees.
There were six people in the car. Three were children. One was a construction worker from India. He had sustained rib fracture and is being treated in Gelegphu Hospital. The rest had escaped unhurt.
This is the second such road fatality reported. The first one was reported last year. Three people died after the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident while trying to escape bee attack.
Road officials are advising travellers to be wary of the bees at Chapli Khola. Travellers are also being advised to close the car windows while driving past the area.
