Search effort for the 18-year-old girl, a student of Dorokha Central School in Samtse, continues. She was washed away 30 meters away from the confluence of Machu River and Amochhu on Saturday.
The seventh grader was visiting her village in Dungtoed upon the request of leave by her parents, on Saturday. Her older sister was accompanying her.
The Search team recovered her school bag, about 3 Kilometers away from the place of incident.
According to the Dorokha Dungpa, search team has been extended as far as Tading Gewog where the AmoChhu Bridge is under construction
