The Zhemgang – Gelegphu highway is still blocked but officials say it’s likely to open for traffic by this afternoon. The Panbang – Nanglam highway is also still blocked and the road officials said that it would take 3 to 4 four days again to clear all the blockages.
The roadblocks between Panbang – Mathanguri/ Manas is likely to be cleared by late evening today. Meanwhile, the Gongphu – Panbang road has reported three major blocks at different locations.
