The Dangchhu Gewog Administration in Wangdue Phodrang is looking forward to constructing a retaining wall along the Dangchhu River above the Gewog centre. Recently, the swollen river unexpectedly changed its course and damaged some portion of a farm road.
The Gewog Administration says there is a high risk of causing damages to several structures along the riverside if this measure is not taken at the earliest.
