The Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay called on the Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the India’s capital, New Delhi, yesterday.
Lyonchhen conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King, Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen, and His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo. The President also conveyed his personal greetings to their Majesties.
The two discussed about development cooperation. Prime Minister said that it was an honour to receive the President in Bhutan, just four months after Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s visit.
The President also congratulated Lyonchen for his speech at Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay also met the European Union Ambassador to Bhutan, Joao Cravinho.
