Opposition Party calls for an immediate reduction of one minster

The opposition party has called on the government to immediately reduce one of the ministers in conformity to the ministries. In a press release issued today, the Druk Phuensum Tshogpa also stated that the lack of clarity is hampering the functioning of some ministries and agencies. They added that the inaction is in contrast to repeated assurances by the government and called for the government’s responsibility, accountability, and transparency in the conduct of government affairs.

BBS tried to contact the Prime Minister’s Office on the matter but they were not available for comment.
