The Ambassador of India to Bhutan, Mr. V.P. Haran, handed over a cheque amounting to Rs. 1.5 billion to the Finance Minister, Namgay Dorji, today. The amount is for the Economic Stimulus Plan (ESP).
The Government of India has committed Rs. 5 billion for the ESP. The first release of Rs. 1 billion was made on October 29, 2013.
