Norwegian Honorary Consulate office inaugurated in Thimphu

With the presentation of credentials to His Majesty The King by the ambassador of Norway to Bhutan this morning, the new Norwegian Honorary Consulate office in Thimphu was inaugurated today. The new ambassador, Hans Jacob Frydenlund, and the foreign affairs and external trade minister, Dr Tandi Dorji inaugurated the office. The consulate will be able to further facilitate the relationships between the two countries. The ambassador said that there is a huge potential and scope for cooperation between Bhutan and Norway.
