The bus accident, head-on, with an Indian truck happened yesterday at around 10 am.  The bus was carrying 24 students and a teacher. They were returning home after attending the YES camp in Gyalpoizhing, Monggar. They were on the way to Phuentsholing from Samdrup Jongkhar along with three other buses.

Children in the bus told our reporter, Pema Samdrup, that the driver in the truck was asleep. They said the truck approaching from the opposite direction was completely on the wrong side. The driver and the handy boy of the truck fled the scene.
