Observing the Royal Kathina Ceremony, Thailand’s deputy Foreign minister along with the representatives of the Thai King offered robes to the monks of Kichu Lhakhang in Paro yesterday.
They also donated around Nu 900,000 to the monastery.
Kathina is a Buddhist robe offering festival celebrated in temples upon the completion of three months rainy season retreat by monks.
