Villagers worry about tiger-predation, Nubi- Trongsa
A tiger is reported to have killed a bull yesterday at Karshong village under Nubi Gewog in Trongsa. And another bull in the same village injured a few days ago by the tiger also succumbed to injuries yesterday.
Mass vaccination against rabies brings relief to residents, Kanglung
Residents of Kanglung in Trashigang welcomed the mass anti-rabies vaccination drive in the gewog. Due to the high number of stray dogs in the area, residents are worried about their safety amid the looming threat of a rabies outbreak. Over 600 domestic animals including pet dogs, stray dogs and cats were vaccinated.
Kamji to benefit from the Water Flagship Project, Chhukha
Access to safe and reliable drinking water supply has been one of the major challenges for people of Kamji in Chhukha. The issue is, however, expected to be resolved once the fifth water project is completed in the district. The De-Suung National Service started their project on Monday and is expected to finish in three months time. It will benefit around 11 households in the area.

Woman loses everything to fire accident, Pema Gatshel
A fire accident yesterday at Raling chiwog under Nanong Gewog in Pema Gatshel left a 60-year-old woman homeless. She lost all her belongings to the fire which completely burned down her single-storeyed traditional Bhutanese house.
