Lunana Gewog in Gasa Dzongkhag is facing problem while assigning mules for the official transportation works due to the meagre fares. The issue was raised in the Gasa Dzongkhag Tshogdu yesterday.

The National Council decided to seek the opinion of the Supreme Court on the Ministers and Minister Equivalent Post Holders' Entitlement Bill of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2019 following National Assembly's decision not to discuss the Bill.

The National Council after much deliberation withdraws the Impeachment Procedure Bill of Bhutan 2019. The Bill was withdrawn following National Assembly's request to the National Council to withdraw the bill in accordance with section 18 of the legislative rules of procedure 2017.

While plans to establish Samtse as the fifth Dzongkhag Thromde is still on, it might have to be routed through the Parliament again. The Bumthang municipal office will start charging a monthly rental fee of Nu 1000 a vendor at the Chamkhar vegetable market starting next month. This was decided at the Dzongkhag Tshogdu, which was held yesterday after the municipal office proposed for a need to collect rental fees from the vendors at the session.
