The National Council after much deliberation withdraws the Impeachment Procedure Bill of Bhutan 2019. The Bill was withdrawn following National Assembly's request to the National Council to withdraw the bill in accordance with section 18 of the legislative rules of procedure 2017.

All irregularities of PHPA I & II resolved

Bumthang DT decides to collect a monthly rental fee of Nu 1000 from regular vendors

The Bumthang municipal office will start charging a monthly rental fee of Nu 1000 a vendor at the Chamkhar vegetable market starting next month. This was decided at the Dzongkhag Tshogdu, which was held yesterday after the municipal office proposed for a need to collect rental fees from the vendors at the session.
