Hailstorm damages crops in Monggar and Wangdue

A hailstorm on Tuesday has damaged more than 22 acres of maize, potato and buckwheat field in Shermuhoong Gewog of Monggar. The gewog officials visited the affected areas to assess the extent of damage yesterday.

Government offices, institutions and schools across the country can now have access to high-quality international published online journals, e-books and research publications for free. This will be possible through a platform called Digital Access to Research.

No water supply from Balukhola mega drinking water project

People of Gelegphu Gewog in Sarpang were promised continuous drinking water supply with the start of Balukhola mega drinking water project in 2016. The work completed in May last year but local residents are still waiting for drinking water from the new project.
