By the end of this month, truckers in Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag will no longer have to struggle to find a space to park their trucks.

After more than four years of conservation works, the Trashigang Dzong has been restored to its former glory. The conservation works on the four-century-old Dzong began in 2014.

Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa (DNT) formally gave party tickets to 46 candidates from various constituencies today. The party's Dokar_Sharpa candidate from Paro is processing his resignation and his candidature will be announced soon, says the party president.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) announced seven more candidates today. With this, the party has now declared 21 new candidates.  

Bhutan Kuen-Nyam Party (BKP) has announced Ten Gyamtsho, a former Engineer, as its candidate from Radhi_Sagteng Constituency in Trashigang yesterday.

To strengthen relationship and understanding between rural communities and the government, the first ever national dialogue was held in Thimphu. The one day event saw 16 community members from Dagana, Haa and Samtse share various issues related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) set by the UN.
