Babesa open sewerage pond to replaced with SBR treatment plant

Come 2019, Babesa residents will not have to bear the unpleasant smell that comes from the open sewerage pond. This is because the waste water stabilization pond in Babesa will be replaced with Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) treatment plant by next year.

Japanese monk conferred title of Lam on completion of three-year retreat

Teruki Imabayashi, a Buddhist monk from Japan, has completed Losum Chogsum or three-year retreat in Bhutan this year. Dorji Lopen of the Central Monastic Body conferred the title of Lam on him and awarded Tashi Lekdar and certificate at a ceremony held at Tango monastery yesterday.
