Man arrested for allegedly smuggling controlled substances

Tshimasham Police arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly smuggling controlled substances, on Tuesday. The police say the suspect was in possession of contraband substances when he was arrested.

Two juvenile brothers arrested for alleged burglary

Tsirang Police detained two brothers, aged 12 and 11 for alleged burglary, on Monday. They apparently stole Nu 3000 and 100 Baht from a residence in Tsirang when the residents were away.

Political rift limited electric vehicle business: Local dealer

The Thunder Motors’ Chief Executive Officer, Tashi Wangchuk says while there is nothing wrong with the electric vehicles technically, it is the political aspect that has been limiting. The two local dealers of electric cars have had poor business, this year. Thunder Motors sold only 12 electric cars and the Singye Agencies fared even worse and sold none.
