Bhutanese learning Choekey from a Japanese researcher

A group of Bhutanese students are learning Choekey, a classical language, from a Japanese researcher and a historian, Dr. Yoshiro Imaeda. Dr. Yoshiro Imaeda is conducting the course on his own expense.

His Holiness the Je Khenpo consecrated the Mani Dungdrup Lobdra, in Punakha, yesterday.

The Agriculture Minister inaugurated the milk processing unit at Tsamang Gewog in Monggar. The unit is expected to meet the increasing demand of milk and dairy products within the villages. There are about 27 of members in a group. The group produces around 100 liters of milk every day. This is the 6th milk processing unit in Monggar.
