Forestry officials attempt to rescue bear

More than 10 forestry officials and officials from Wildlife Conservation Division have reached the Sherzhong Gewog in Gelegphu to trap the bear that has been causing terror for nine days. Their first attempt was futile but they are positive they will be able to capture the bear alive soon.

Discourse on Human Security

Discourse on Human Security- a global concept to ensuring happiness- was held here in the capital today. Jointly held by the Embassy of Japan, UNDP and JICA the half-day discourse, which was attended by the Senior Government Officials, discussed on development of Human Security concept in the United Nations and the UN’s human security project in Bhutan.
