Police not against the removal of orderly system

The Chief of Police, Brigadier Kipchu Namgyel, today, reiterated that the police force unanimously supports the removal of the orderly system. He said many people believe that the police officials were against the government’s decision to remove the orderly system and give allowances to the officers, “This is not true,” he said.

Bronze for Bhutan

A Professor from Thailand and an employee of Agriculture Machinery Center  died in a vehicle accident yesterday. They were travelling to Thimphu from Haa when the vehicle veered off road and fell some 200 feet below the road.
