postalBallotAbout 5,970 postal ballot applications for the National Council elections have reached the election office in Trashigang. But 1,410 applications have been rejected. The rejections were due to incorrect identity numbers, lack of a proper address, and old VPIC numbers. Some were rejected because the voters were not registered properly.

The office began receiving the NC postal ballot applications from last month, with the final one arriving on April 3.
