Two men have denied the killing of leopard for trade in Gyalgong under Silambi Gewog in Monggar. Gyalpoizhing Range Office had recovered skin and bones of leopard from their house after a tip-off.
The men say they killed the animal for self defense and to guard their animals.
The range office has fined them Nu 10,000 for killing the animal.
