karma-sherab-thobgyal-is-the-sj-thrompon-electGoing by this evening’s provisional vote count of Thromde Election in Samdrup Jongkhar, Karma Sherab Thobgyal secured majority votes.

Of the 320 voters who went to the polls today, 234 voted in favour of the former thrompon. The other candidate, Dechen Wangmo, secured 113 votes.

Samdrup Jongkhar thromde has 808 eligible voters.
