A nine-day Jana Chidey Kurim began at the Pangrizampa School of Astrology in the capital, today.
Former Yangbi Lobey Sangay Dorji from the Zhung Dratshang, with around 150 monks, is presiding over the Kurim.
The religious ceremony is for well-being of all sentient beings and for peace and prosperity of the country.
