His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen graced the Namgay Tongchoed prayers at the Kuenray of the Tashichhodzong, yesterday.
Monks from the Central Monastic Body, led by Dorji Lopon, had performed the prayers.
Cabinet ministers, Chief Justice and Members of Parliament had also attended the ceremony.
Sacred relics were also put up for public veneration at the courtyard of the Tashichhodzong. Neten Chudu Thongdrel was also unfurled for public veneration. Hundreds of devotees received blessings from the Throngdrel.
