His Majesty awards Patang and Kabney to a businessman

His Majesty the King awarded white scarf without fringe and Patang to a 62-year-old businessman Dorji Wangchuk. He is from Tang village in Bumthang. The award ceremony was held at the Punakha Dzong today.

The Gyalpoi Zimpon, as the representative of His Majesty, handed over the scarf and Patang to Dorji Wangchuk with the title Guup. He was awarded in recognition for his dedicated service to the King and the community.
