His Holiness the Je Khenpo appointed a new Lam Neten for Wangdue Rabdhey at Tango Dorden Tashithang Buddhist University on April 26.
The new Lam Neten, 50-year-old Lopen Pema from Gaselo in Wangdue, was serving as the Dubdhey Lopen with Tango Yoesel Gasel for many years.
Lopen Pema joined Wangdue Dratshang at the age of eight and Tango Buddhist University in 1990.
He has also completed three religious retreats.
