The Zherim Lobda is first of its kind in the eastern Dzongkhags. The school resembles the Zherim Lobda at Dechenphodrang Zherim Lobda in the capital.

The school will have classes from 1 to 8.  The construction includes classrooms, dining and a prayer hall, hostels, Principal’s residence and kitchen.HH-Kuenphen Yoesel Choling Zherim Lobda-Gyalpoizhing-

The construction was to house 300 monks. However, because of lack of space, it can accommodate only 200 monks.

The school will start at the end of this month. It was constructed at a cost of more Nu.50 Million. It is funded by the Government of India.
