His Holiness the Khenpo consecrated a Jangchup Chorten at Tashiphu under Serzhong Gewog in Sarpang yesterday.
The 40-feet tall Jangchup Chorten was constructed by the people of Tashiphu Community in Serzhong.
His Holiness contributed Zung for the chorten and also deputed a carpenter.
More than Nu 700,000 was spent on the construction of the chorten. The civil servants from Tashiphu contributed cash, while others contributed labour.
His Holiness also administered Chapdro, Mani and Bazaguru Lung to the public.
