His Holiness appoints new principal and Khenpo

His Holiness appoints new principal and KhenpoHis Holiness the Je Khenpo appointed Khenpo Phub Dorji, 46, from Haa as the Principal of Sangchen Dorji Lhendup Anim Shedra at Wolakha in Punakha.

Prior to his current appointment, Khenpo Phub Dorji served as the Principal of Druk Namgay Chholing Goenzin Dratshang in Phuentshogling.

He   completed his Masters Degree from Tango Buddhist College.

Khenpo Phub Dorji did Lho Sum Cho Sum at Hontsho Tashigang under guidance of Lobey Kado, the former Machey Zimpon of Punthim Dratshang.

His Holiness also appointed Lopen Gaden Lhendup as a Khenpo of Druk Namgay Chholing Goenzin Dratshang in Phuentshogling. Khenpo Gaden Lhendup is from Sombaykha in Haa.

Prior to his current appointment, he served as an Umze of Haa Rabdey Dratshang for three years.

When he was eight years old, he joined Haa Rabdey Dratshang. Gaden Lhendup completed his degree from Tango Shedra.

He completed his Lho Sum Cho Sum from Drolung Goenpa under the guidance of His Holiness the Je-Khenpo Thrizur Tenzin Dendup.

Drolung Goenpa is located opposite to Tango Shedra.
