Dorji Lopen appoints three lams today

Dorji Lopen appointed three Lams earlier today at the Tashichhodzong.

58 years old Lopen Tagzi from Chhukha is appointed as the new Lam for Khasadrapchu Lhakhang in Thimphu. He started his monastic education at the age of nine. Prior to the current post, he served in Thimphu Dzong.

45 years old Lam Chimi Dorji from Wangdue Phodrang is the new Lam of Yoeseltse Lhakhang in Samtse. He began his monastic education at the age of seven and received teachings from many teachers including His Holiness the 68th Je Khenpo. Prior to the current appointment, he was serving as the Library Officer of the Dratshang.

And 47 years old Lopen Kinley is appointed as the new Lam of Dongkala in Paro. He started his monastic education at the age of 16. Prior to the current appointment, he served at the Kuengachholing Drubdey.
