DANTAK Chief pays farewell call on Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay

The Chief Engineer of India’s Border Roads Organisation, DANTAK, Brigadier PKG Mishra, paid a farewell call on Prime Minister, Dasho Tshering Tobgay at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang yesterday.

Prime Minister congratulated the DANTAK Chief for successful completion of his tenure and thanked him for his moral and direct support rendered to Bhutan. Prime Minister also thanked the Brigadier Mishra and DANTAK team for their efforts in construction of Damchu-Chhukha bypass where major works are complete.

Project DANTAK was raised in May, 1961 in Samdrup Jongkhar and since then worked on the development of roads and tele-communication networks in the country.
