Commemorating the 41st Birthday of His Majesty The King, volunteers of Zeus for stray and homeless dogs initiated a D-worming campaign covering more than 3,000 stray dogs in Thimphu, yesterday.
More than 50 volunteers, mostly students and Desuups, joined the campaign to feed and d-worm the strays. They have been preparing since February 18. The dogs were treated to a nutritious food of rice, chicken and vegetables mixed with d-worming tablets.
Every day, Zeus for stray and homeless dogs feeds more than 300 days within Thimphu. Apart from feeding, the organization also rescue and put the dogs for adoption.
