Chorten to be constructed at Thrumshingla to commemorate The Gyalsey’s birth A groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a chorten to commemorate the birth of His Royal Highness The Gyalsey, was held at Thrumshingla pass, yesterday.Chorten to be constructed at Thrumshingla to commemorate The Gyalsey’s birth-

The ceremony was presided over by the Jakar Lam. According to the Lam, the Guru Tshengye Chorten will be constructed over the pass, at an elevation of over 3,700 metres.

Also people in Yamthra in Bumthang gathered near the residence of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen’s mother where they were granted Tokha.

The Guru Tshengye Thongdrel was unfurled at the Jakar Dzong. Kurims are being held in different Lhakhangs in the Dongkhag for the well-being of His Royal Highness the Gyalsey, Their Majesties the King and the Gyaltsuen and people of the country.
