Cab Driver penalised for bizarre traffic violationParo Traffic Police have penalised a taxi driver, 38, for a bizarre traffic violation. He had allegedly carried Indian tourists on his taxi’s roof rack on the way to Taktshang.

The Police issued a Transport Infringement Notice to the driver on the spot with two charges. He has been charged with carrying insecure load and flouting general duty of a driver.

Police say the driver could be levied a penalty of more than Nu 4,000 and have his license being punched.

This is first such incident to be reported in the country.
